James Bradley Papers (including Nathaniel Bliss Papers), 1723-1804.

Contains: A. Observation ledgers, notes, working catalogues, tables, miscellaneous observations, computations, papers on observations, solar eclipses, comets and other astronomical matters, together with some correspondence. B. Documentation of important topics and events, such as: demonstration of the nutation of the Earth's axis of rotation; re-equipment of the Royal Observatory using government funds. C. The following is a list of the names of correspondents and others as they appear in the handlist to this class of papers in RGO Archives. It must be remembered that this is not necessarily an exhaustive list of names as they appear in the papers themselves.
